Tin Tin in Tibet

After the pleasure of watching Tin Tin on big screen over the past year it was my first pick for this weeks comic. Before the movie I had only heard about the comic in passing, hearing that it was a good read but never really having the chance to pick it up myself. If was anything like the movie, I thought it would be fun to read.

I wasn't wrong.

It was a marvelous adventure that kept me entertained. Though I must admit I found it to be a bit wordy. I perfer reading comics where a picture is worth a thousand words and not have a thousand words written for me. If I wanted something like that I would have read a book. Then again it was the still back then.

Artwork was simple but very entertaining bring a very animated feel to the comic. I know I laughed more than a few times at the silly expressions. Tin Tin himself always seems to be doing something even when he''s sleeping he's dreaming of his friend.

The speech balloons were odd to me. usually I only seen the type with a tail like that when its describing someone's voice through a telephone or communicator. I chalked it up to being from France. The paneling was also rather stock, following the simple format of comics.
